Social - It's a rough call this early into the content released, but so far I'd weigh in that Portia did it better ( thus far ). Future updates however might alter that view. I don't find this nearly as useful in Sandrock as of this time. Portia actually had one-up I feel in this category as far as paying for someone else to obtain useful items for you to save you in time / stamina. Hiring Mechanics - This is for the Civil Corp and Mining Company. Dungeon areas don't require stamina usage however thus far they appear less useful as far as materials gained. The mini-game is a lot more simple in Sandrock, and I suppose the trade off to that is that the fish have less value.Ĭombat - There's some quality of life improvements that make Sandrock better than Portia. My impression of it is that there's still a lot of work to be done in this area.įishing - Portia did it better - personal opinion. )įarming - Sandrock does attempt to integrate farming a little more than Portia ( at least that's the initial feel of it ). There's a couple you might miss out on if you don't keep an eye out for side-quests that are time sensitive. The blueprints give you an outline, and you fill in the colors with whatever components it's asking for. ( My view of the building it's more like a coloring book. I would say yes even at this early stage, however honestly it depends on why you liked My Time at Portia.īuilding - Very similar.
